Wayfinder is a visual art book that puts the act of discovery front and center. Inspired by field guides and captains logs, this hand-sized book is deceptively human-scale for its outsized contents that features epic scenes of imagined worlds, inhabited by beasts both terrestrial and alien. This special book is for folks who want to explore the limits of Risograph printing, one page at a time.

About the artist: Kai Gietzen is an artist and illustrator from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He crafts narrative and figurative worlds in an accessible but nuanced way, allowing the viewer into an image to engage with it through their own experiences. He finds inspiration through the interplay of areas such as ecology, folklore, mythology, and personal experience. He is currently based in Providence, Rhode Island.
